IMPORTANT INFORMATION Last year, we successfully fought an application to convert the former police training centre on Windmill Lane into a 76 bedroom HMO. Unfortunately, the owner has submitted a new application but very little has changed apart from the number of bedrooms and a few extra parking spaces. As a School, we do not support this application and will be objecting to the plans again. There will be a meeting at school, in the Windmill Lane hall at 3 pm on Wednesday where parents and members of the local community will be able to hear from Mrs Deakin, Gurinder Singh Josan (member of parliament for Smethwick) Councillor Shaeen, Councillor Mufllihi and Councillir Uddin. Please attend if you are able to and thank you. Please see Mrs Deakin if you have any questions.
Just a reminder Year 6 leavers assembly is today at 9am .
Today we say some final farewells. Our year 6, end their journey with us today and we know that they are prepared and ready for their next adventure. It's been a privilege to teach and watch you grow. You will always be in our hearts . Mrs Green leaves us today . Good luck at your new school September you will be missed. Miss Bowker leaves today . Good luck at your new school. You will be missed. Miss Marku also leaves today and we look forward to hearing about her new adventures. Thankyou all for your love and service at St Matthew's.
